Cookie & privacy notice
A short, precise account of which cookies datachat.hu uses, what we measure with them, and how you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Effective: 13 August 2026
What does this notice cover?
This page covers cookies and traffic measurement on the datachat.hu marketing website. Data processing by customers who run the Datachat product in their own environment is separate from this and is governed by the contractual data processing agreement.
Who is the data controller?
The datachat.hu website is operated by the Visionsoft group of companies (registered seat: H-1149 Budapest, Pósa Lajos utca 51., Hungary). Data protection contact: adatvedelem@visionsoft.hu. The group’s full privacy policy — including how to exercise your rights as a data subject — is available on visionsoft.hu.
Why and on what legal basis do we measure?
Storage strictly necessary to operate the site (for example remembering your cookie choice) relies on our legitimate interest — without it we would have to ask you again on every page load. Google Analytics statistical measurement runs solely on your prior, voluntary consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). What we learn from it:
- how many visitors the site gets and which pages they view
- where they come from (search, referral, direct)
- which country, and what device and browser type
- whether a visitor reaches the demo request
What happens if you decline?
Then we place no measurement cookies at all and cannot identify you. In that case Google tags send so-called cookieless pings under Consent Mode v2, which carry no user identifier — only the page address, the referring source, the browser language and the consent state. From these we can see, in aggregate only, what proportion of visitors decline measurement; we cannot see what you did on the site. Every feature of the site keeps working exactly the same.
How long do we keep it?
The lifetime of the Google Analytics cookies is listed in the table below. Event- and user-level data held in Google Analytics is retained for the period we configure, at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically. Aggregated statistical reports are kept longer, but no individual visitor can be identified from them.
Who receives the data?
Measurement data is processed on our behalf by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may also be transferred outside the European Union to Google LLC; such transfers are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by Google’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell the data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
What are your rights?
You may request access to the data held about you, its rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing, and you may object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason — most easily via the button on this page. Send any such request to adatvedelem@visionsoft.hu. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.) or bring the matter before a court.
